The waterpark itself — slides, lazy river, splash pad and pools — is included at no charge. A few extras, such as mini golf, the climbing wall, and cabana rentals, may carry a separate resort fee. For a group of 10, resort water access alone can replace hundreds of dollars a day in park tickets.

🌡️ POOL & SPA HEATING (optional paid add-on)
The pool and spa are not heated by default — heating is an optional add-on with an additional charge, so please request it before arrival. When added, the pool warms to approximately 89°F, and the spa reaches about 100°F once the jets are running. Because heating is optional, the water will not already be warm when you arrive unless you've added it to your stay. Please note the pool pump and heater run from 9 AM to 9 PM. In colder months, the water may not reach your desired temperature — a pool loses heat to the cold air overnight faster than the heater can recover it, so during winter cold snaps the water can feel cooler than expected even with heating on. This is a limitation of outdoor pool heating in general, not a fault with the equipment.

🔒 POOL SAFETY
Because the safety of guests — especially children around water — matters so much to us, we've put extra safety features in place. Every door leading to the pool area, including the sliding patio door and the master bathroom door that opens to the patio, has a top latch lock mounted higher up, out of small children's reach, in addition to its normal lock. The pool itself is surrounded by a child safety fence. If children are staying with you, we strongly recommend keeping the pool fence locked when not swimming and both the door lock and top latch in place at all times. These features aren't meant to replace adult supervision — they're here simply because we care about keeping your family safe.

🔥 BBQ GRILL (optional)
A BBQ grill is available on request for a $40 flat fee, which includes one propane tank — please request it before arrival so we can invoice you. We ask that you clean the grill after use; if it's left uncleaned, an additional $40 cleaning fee applies.

🧺 SELF-CATERING / STARTER SUPPLIES
This is a self-catering home. We provide starter amounts to get you going: dish soap, dishwasher capsules, a dish sponge, one roll of paper towel, a couple of trash bags, laundry detergent, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, and bathroom essentials (hand soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner). These are starter amounts, not a full week's supply, so you'll likely want to stock up — there's a Publix just over a mile away.

🗑️ TRASH (resort rules)
Trash is collected daily — please have it out by 9 AM and keep the bin lid closed. All trash must be bagged and tied in 13-gallon kitchen bags, no heavier than 30 lbs. No grocery bags, no loose trash, and no liquids. Please flatten cardboard boxes. Loose trash won't be collected.

🚗 PARKING
Parking includes the 2 driveway spaces at the home. Directly across the street there's a row of additional parking spaces, available on a first-come, first-served basis (two of them are designated accessible/handicap spaces). Up to 4 vehicles total, including the 2 in the driveway. Please don't block the sidewalk. No commercial vehicles, limousines, RVs, ATVs, boats, or trailers may be kept on the property.

🔇 RESORT QUIET HOURS
The resort's quiet hours are 10 PM–7 AM. Please be mindful of neighbors during these times.

🏊 RESORT AMENITY HOURS
Resort amenities — including the waterpark, clubs, restaurant, and fitness center — are operated by the resort, and their hours and availability are set by the resort, not by us. Schedules may vary by season and some amenities may operate on reduced hours or close temporarily without notice. We're unable to control or guarantee resort operating hours, but we're always happy to share the latest information we have.

❄️ AIR CONDITIONING
The A/C is set to Auto/Cool and locked so it cannot go below 70°F — this protects the unit, as setting it lower causes the system to freeze and can cause significant damage. Please keep all doors and windows closed while the A/C is running. Note that opening the doors often, or leaving them open for several minutes, lets the Florida heat in quickly and the home warms up fast — so please keep them shut to stay comfortable.

📹 SECURITY CAMERAS
For the security of guests and the property, there are exterior cameras only: a video doorbell at the front door, a camera at the front of the house, and a camera on the side of the house covering the pool equipment. There are no cameras inside the home and none overlooking the pool or any private outdoor living area.

🔍 INSPECTION
The home is inspected before check-in and after check-out. Please let us know right away if anything is damaged or not working. Any damage to the home or its contents is the guest's responsibility to repair or replace.

🧼 ADDITIONAL CLEANING
Your cleaning fee covers a normal turnover, and we simply ask that you leave the home in reasonable shape — dishes done, trash bagged, furniture where you found it. A few situations do require extra charges, since they take our team well beyond a standard clean: stains on towels, bedding, walls, or furniture; spills that need special treatment; trash left loose or outside the bins; or any mess that holds up the next guest's check-in. None of this is meant to be strict — it just keeps things fair for everyone who stays with us.
